From Vienna to Hong Kong: QmiSoft joins AI Tinkerers, the global community of hands-on AI builders — demos over decks, in 263 cities worldwide.

Demos over decks
AI Tinkerers calls itself “The Global Community for Hands-On AI Builders”. As of September 2026 it counts more than 135,000 members in 263 cities worldwide. The house rules fit on a sticky note — and they fit the way we work:
“No slides. Demo the thing.”
Meetups revolve around live code, working demos and honest lessons from shipping real AI systems. There are no sales pitches and no generic panels; attendees are screened for hands-on AI work. Practitioners, not spectators.
Vienna: builders right on our doorstep
The Vienna chapter has been meeting since 2024. A typical evening runs about three hours: lightning demos from local builders, technical Q&A and plenty of conversation afterwards. Recent meetups brought together around a hundred builders. The next builder meetup is on 1 October 2026 at 18:00 CEST — working demos, architecture deep dives, no slides.
Hong Kong: a bridge between East and West
Some 8,700 kilometres to the east, the Hong Kong & Greater Bay Area chapter describes itself as a “bridge to share AI insights between the East and West”. Its meetups run in English, and demos in Cantonese and Mandarin are welcome. The chapter has hosted around 30 events in the last twelve months, with partners such as Cyberport and EY.
Two cities, one clock
When the Vienna meetup opens its doors at 18:00 in Vienna, it is midnight in Hong Kong. By the time one city goes home, the other is starting its day. That is exactly the kind of community we want to be part of: a conversation about building with AI that never really stops.
