QmiSoft is at home in a small town in Styria. Our strength, however, reaches much further: we work with partners all over the world — including highly qualified software companies in India. What connects them is a simple principle: openness.

Openness for communities

Good software is rarely created in isolation. That is why we are active where builders exchange knowledge — for example as members of AI Tinkerers, the global community for hands-on AI builders with chapters from Vienna to Hong Kong. There we learn what really works in practice — and bring it back into our customers’ projects.

Openness for ideas

The best idea wins — no matter whether it comes from our customer, from a partner in another time zone or from a new technology. We look at new approaches early, test them honestly and use them where they create real benefit. Curiosity, combined with experience since 2009, keeps solutions modern and reliable.

For demanding projects we bring in the right specialists — including highly qualified partner companies in India, which is home to one of the largest and most experienced pools of software talent in the world. For our customers this means:

Efficiency across time zones

When our day starts in Austria at 09:00, it is already 12:30 in India and 15:00 in Hong Kong. Well organised, time zones become an advantage: work can be handed over, reviewed and continued while the next team is still — or already — at work. Clear specifications, short feedback loops and a shared toolchain make sure efficiency does not come at the expense of quality.

Data protection is not negotiable

International cooperation must never mean giving up control over your data. Our principles:

• Only as much data as necessary. Partners receive what a task requires — wherever possible anonymised or as test data.
• Personal data stays in the EU wherever possible. If data has to be processed outside the EU, it happens only on a sound legal basis under the GDPR, for example with EU standard contractual clauses.
• Clear roles and agreements with every partner, including confidentiality and data-processing agreements.
• Transparency: you know who works on your project and where.
